"Cycle Manchester" - by Elizabeth Gill

In her introduction, Elizabeth writes:
These portraits show cyclists of Manchester in this era, their positive relationship as a cyclist to the city of Manchester and their frustrations with cycling in this city
Thanks Liz for sharing your work with us!

A sunny aspect

"A sunny aspect" by ©Broxrider on Flickr
We are longing for more sunshine. The mustard coat certainly helps! Plus I find mixte frames to cheer me up no end... is it just me?

As a fellow female cyclist, I would like to point out the excellent example of riding in a skirt with dark tights, probably the most comfortable set up + safety in knowing your modesty will not be compromised!

Cruiser in Manchester

Thanks to Broxrider for sharing this! A bit of laid back American cruiser on the street of Manchester (I wonder if the bike is from RideLow?)

Waiting...

I thought I had missed that shot as she coasted past me, instead it worked out for the better!

Probably one of my favourite shots yet... cycle chic bien sûr!

TweedRide Manchester!

Ladies and gents, here at MCR Cycle Chic we are delighted to share with you that, on the last day of British Summer Time, the lovely people of TweedRide have organised a ride... yes, this coming Saturday!

Meet at 2pm at the Whitworth Art Gallery.

If you fancy a bite to eat before hand, get there for midday and join like-minded cyclists for Wheelers' Brunch!

Don't forget to wear your best attire!
